Emerge KY Alumna Jacqueline Coleman wins election for Lieutenant Governor
Louisville, Ky. — Emerge Kentucky congratulates Class of 2011 alumna, Jacqueline
Coleman, on becoming our next Lt. Governor.

“Each year Emerge alums continue to make strides and blaze trails. Last night was no exception. Jacqueline is an inspiration to all of us and her victory proves that when women run, women win” said Executive Director Blair Haydon.

Coleman is the first Emerge KY graduate to be elected as Lt. Governor, the highest office held by an alumna to date.

“I congratulate Jacqueline Coleman on becoming our next paper writer Lt. Governor. A public school educator and Emerge KY alum, there is no doubt she is ready to serve the Commonwealth” says Emerge KY board chair & founder Jennifer A. Moore.
