Read moreYvette (she/her) is an experienced Louisville-based attorney with a demonstrated commitment to ensuring that all people receive equal treatment and application of the law. During her seven-year tenure as a public defender, she ardently protected the rights of indigent children in Jefferson County’s juvenile, family, and circuit courts, and indigent adults in the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court. She has earned awards and recognition for her trial advocacy and her successful appellate advocacy in several recently published cases. A first-generation college student, Yvette graduated from Morehead State University and the University of Kentucky College of Law. In her free time, she enjoys supporting Racing Louisville FC and spending time with her husband, Taylor, and their two pups, Jake and Han.
