Since becoming a nurse in 2009, I have been passionate about improving access to quality healthcare, especially for underserved and minority populations. My professional background also includes experience as a bodily injury adjuster and interior designer, equipping me with diverse skills to address the needs of my community. Civic engagement has always been a core part of my life. I volunteered with Stacey Abrams’ 2018 campaign in Atlanta, Ga and have participated in protests for voting rights and racial justice alongside civil rights activists. I am also deeply committed to community service, regularly distributing food and care packages to the homeless in Hardin County and Louisville, Kentucky, as well as, serving through my church. Grounded in my faith, I place God first, my family second, and service to others at the center of my life. My ultimate goal is to further my nursing education, become a nurse practitioner, and open family practices focused on youth and minority healthcare. Inspired by leaders like Vice President Kamala Harris, I plan to begin my political journey with Radcliff City Council and ultimately work toward creating lasting change at every level of government.
