Last November she resigned from Western Kentucky University after 18 years on the Hill. Her positions there included helping local non profits with grant writing at the ALIVE Center and managing the Southern Kentucky Book Fest. Most recently she worked at the Gatton Academy where she supported students as the Coordinator of College Counseling. (Gatton is an early entrance college STEM program funded by the State of Kentucky and located on the campus of WKU.) Tracy was elected and served as a parent representative on SBDM Councils at McNeill Elementary and Bowling Green Junior High School. She was also elected and served on the WKU Staff Senate and the WKU Benefits Committee. Since 2016 she has served as chair of The Women’s Network-Barren River Branch which is part of a statewide network that is committed to activating Kentuckians — particularly women — to take part in the political process, strengthening their influence and inclusion in policy-making decisions.
