She is a proud parent to her two young kids (Atalaya, 6 and Jude, 4) volunteering as a board member for both of their schools’ PTAs. She and her husband, Brian, can be found any given week helping with their street’s pocket park (Beechwood Park), having a beer at a brewery or playing with their kids in Bloom Elementary’s new playground. Taylor is also active in efforts aimed at police accountability and transparency through The 490 Project as well as eviction prevention through Blacktivist. She looks forward to learning and growing from her participation in Emerge Kentucky and is forever grateful to her supporters who encouraged her to run for office.
