Read moreStefanie Kingsley is a Consumer Rights attorney experienced in advocating for everyday Kentuckians for more than a decade. Stefanie owns a small law practice on Main Street in Corbin, where she works to help the people of Eastern Kentucky achieve financial security. For the better part of a decade Stefanie worked in Legal Aid in Appalachia, serving the most vulnerable community members. It was here that she learned the strengths and struggles of our Eastern Kentucky communities in the heart of Appalachia. She is honored to run for State Representative in the 82nd District and for the opportunity to advocate for individuals and families in Whitley and Laurel counties.
Stefanie and her husband Fred, a life-long Kentuckian, live in Williamsburg, and enjoy all that country life has to offer with four dogs, 22 chickens, and a small farm. Stefanie volunteers with the Knox Whitley Animal Shelter and with Mobile Mutts of Kentucky, where she has learned more about the plight of our four-legged friends in Kentucky, a state that ranks 50th for animal welfare. Stefanie is a member of board of directors for Baptist Health Corbin Foundation, is a member of the the Whitley County Farmer’s Market Committee, an advisory board member for the Horticulture Council for the Whitley County Extension Office, and currently serves as a board member for Emerge Kentucky, a candidate training program for Democratic Women. She received her law degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
