Her experience spans government, nonprofit, and consulting roles and is complemented by deep involvement with grassroots organizations and volunteer leadership. In all her roles, Becca is guided by a people centered approach, grounded in the belief that the wellbeing of people, communities, and the natural environment are deeply interconnected.
She currently serves as a Project Manager with Louisville Metro Government’s Department of Public Works, where she supports initiatives that advance sustainability, infrastructure resilience, and community health. Previously, as a consultant, she partnered with communities to access funding for community led resilience and nature based infrastructure. Her earlier roles include serving as a Watershed Coordinator for Oldham County Fiscal Court and a Soil Conservationist with the USDA.
Becca is passionate about science based education, equitable access to nature, and grassroots led efforts. She holds active certifications as a Kentucky Master Naturalist and Environmental Educator, serves on the board of the Kentucky Conservation Committee, and volunteers with the Louisville Wild Ones Chapter and Kentucky Watershed Watch. She previously served a term as a Supervisor for the Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Originally from Connecticut, Becca grew up on a small beef farm and has called Kentucky home since 2018. She lives in Louisville with her partner and their cats and enjoys camping, yoga, and growing native plants.
