Read moreNatalie Flores-Esquivel is currently a graduate student at Murray State University studying Public Administration. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Business Sustainability from Arizona State University in 2018. She has also worked in Transportation and Community Planning since 2018 and has recently become a Title VI Coordinator. A main cornerstone of her life happened when she was 19. She sold her car for plane tickets and lived in Nicaragua for six months where she taught English as a Second Language (ESL), worked in food distribution programs and assisted the local ministries. Working in Nicaragua gave her incredible insight into leadership through service and the importance of grass-roots community building. She came back to the US because she knew in order to broaden my scope of impact, she’d have to work on her own education. Here she is, nearly ten years later, with her educational goals nearly met and preparing to continue my path of service and leadership through elected office.
