Born in Benton, Kentucky, I have spent most of my life rooted in Marshall County, with the exception of eight years as a military spouse living in Arizona, Florida, and North Carolina before returning home to Kentucky.
My professional background spans insurance, childcare, customer service, office administration, nonprofit coordination, and years as a stay-at-home parent. I also dedicated six years working with PTO organizations, supporting schools and families through hands-on involvement and leadership.
Community service has always been central to my life. Over the past year, I co-founded a grassroots community group that organized food drives, a free community day, rallies, and additional outreach efforts. I continue to volunteer weekly at a local food bank and bi-weekly delivering meals to homebound neighbors, ensuring those most in need remain supported and connected.
I am a strong advocate for basic human rights and am deeply passionate about helping others, particularly working-class families and vulnerable populations. I recently earned my associate degree and plan to continue my education by pursuing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work, with the goal of becoming a full-time advocate in the future.
I believe in transparency, community collaboration, workers’ rights, strong unions, and people-centered policies that prioritize fairness — including taxing extreme wealth rather than punishing those struggling to get by.
