Read moreKim Reeder was born and raised outside Morehead, Kentucky and educated in Rowan County public schools. She has degrees from Yale University (Bachelor of Arts), Duke University (Master of Public Policy), and the University of North Carolina School of Law. After working as a tax attorney in New York, Washington, DC, and northern California for nearly two decades, she returned to eastern Kentucky in 2014 with her daughter (Ansley) so that they could be near her mother during the last year of her life. Since returning to Kentucky, Kim has taught at Rowan County Senior High School, Holmes High School, Morehead State University, and in the Governor’s Scholars Program. She is currently Of Counsel with Campbell, Rogers & Stacy in Morehead and the 2023 presumptive Democratic nominee for Auditor of Public Accounts.
