Read moreOriginally from Ashland, Mississippi, Keisha has been a resident of McCracken County since 2008 where she has raised her two sons Michael (26) and Keyshun (20) as a single parent with the support of the Paducah community. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work. She has accepted her calling as a servant and advocate believing everyone should have the opportunity to be their 100%. She has worked in several areas of social work ranging from foster care and adoption, mental-health and HIV/AIDS. She is currently the social service director for a local skilled nursing facility. She has committed to take an active stance on issues that are going on in my community. In 2019, she started Out Paducah, a nonprofit organization providing an accepting environment to enhance the personal growth of lgbtq + youth in McCracken and surrounding counties. She serves on the Executive Board of McCracken County Democrats and is a proud member of the Paducah Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
