She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Hatching House Mentoring Services, Inc., founded by her in November 2017. Hatching Mentoring Services, Inc., is centered around the creation of a supportive, uplifting, and encouraging environment for scholars with learning specialties. Those who have had Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma, she believes would have better outcomes of closing the gaps that some disparities have created if they are disrupted early on. As a result, those adverse effects can be counteracted immediately and those scholars, who would otherwise struggle to nurture their greatness, are allowed to thrive individually as well as collectively within their community and in educational settings. Mrs. Hatcher now holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Louisville and a master’s in public health education from Purdue University. Additionally, Mrs. Hatcher is equipped with a knowledgeable background in healthcare, including mental health, as well as a plethora of youth program implementation experience. Her program is structured, specific, and incorporates emotional intelligence elements at the initial stages of development to equip children with tools to process emotions properly. This program is designed to engage children from the beginning, starting at daycare and following them throughout their academic careers into young adulthood. The desired outcome is matriculation to post-secondary education and giving back to the organization and community at large.
