She has advocated for social reform through her work with Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and through Jefferson County Teachers Association. Kenyata looks forward to giving the citizens of her community a voice in Frankfort. Kenyata believes Louisvillians deserve to have fulfilling jobs, access to healthcare, and affordable housing in safe communities free from violence, drugs, and discrimination. She believes there are many valuable resources in the community that need to be nurtured and that members of her community can support each other to become the place they all dream it can be.
