She also teaches Educational Psychology graduate courses as an adjunct professor at University of the Cumberlands and is a certified Holistic Life Coach. As a transformational leader, she has demonstrated the ability to identify organizational needs, inspire group commitments, and adapt to meet collective goals. Her solid reputation as a competent team member has provided opportunities to serve as a Board member on the Richmond Human Rights Commission, Kentucky CASA Network, London Children’s Museum, and the Telford YMCA Black Achievers Advisory Council. To date, she and her husband have shared 19 years of marriage. She also has been blessed with two amazing daughters, and is K-Ma to three wonderful grandchildren. While Dr. Wright is grateful for the opportunities she has enjoyed professionally, she attributes the love and support of her family as her greatest motivation. As stated by Paul Tsongas, “We are a continuum. Just as we reach back to our ancestors for our fundamental values, so we, as guardians of that legacy, must reach ahead to our children and their children. And we do so with a sense of sacredness in that reaching.”
