With nearly 20 years of healthcare experience, she has served her community in both the public and private sectors with a concentration on vulnerable populations. An active participant in health policy, Dr. Lemberger has served on numerous task forces such as the 100 people of Louisville racism task force, the Family and Children’s Place Board of Directors, and various nursing organizations. She has served in many leadership roles and has presented on topics ranging from human trafficking to education on the international, national, and regional levels. A parent of 3 daughters, she has an abiding interest in childrens’ well being, education, and social justice. Dr. Lemberger is especially proud of her Summa Cum Laude Doctor of Nursing degree which she earned while maintaining a full time job and caring for her 3 children.
