Her professional endeavors are centered around advocacy and education concerning health equity and preventative medicine. Dr. Etheridge refers to herself as a servant- leader and sits on Louisville Metro’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities. She has a son who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Inspired by this, her life’s purpose has shifted to engaging the community in conversation and action surrounding marginalized groups. This includes people with disabilities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and minorities. Dr. Etheridge believes in continuous education. She plans to cultivate growth with involvement in leadership programs and meeting people on the front lines of injustice of all kinds. Personally, she is a mother of two boys.
