She then earned a B.A. in Arts Administration with a specialty in Music Performance from the University of Kentucky’s College of Fine Arts. In 2014, Carrie graduated from Campbellsville University with a master’s in Organizational Leadership.
Carrie’s entire professional career has been spent in the service of others working at numerous nonprofit organizations throughout central Kentucky, including the University of Kentucky, Lexington Philharmonic, Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation, Art Center of the Bluegrass, and Hosparus Health Green River.
Carrie currently serves as the Senior Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives for Leadership Kentucky, a nonprofit organization established in 1984 to connect, inspire, and equip leaders of diverse backgrounds to realize Kentucky’s potential through experiential education.
Carrie is also committed to service in her local community. She is on the board of the Marion County Youth Soccer Association, is president of the Marion County Education Foundation, and chair of the Marion County Board of Education.
