I have lived in Kentucky since 2010, when the army assigned me to Ft. Knox, KY. I moved to Meade County 2014, looking for a supportive and peaceful environment after experiencing significant loss. I was born in Festus, MO. I have three children that remind me every day that there is hope for a future built on tolerance, empathy, truth, justice, and basic respect for all people. I hold a BS and an MS in Psychology; my minor for my undergraduate degree is applied behavioral analysis. I have been a federal employee since 2012, and work as a behavioral health specialist at the Office of the Command Psychologist at US Army Recruiting Command. I have been involved in local politics since 2016 and am the vice-chair of my county’s democratic party. I am a principled person, and value honesty above all else; for me, activism and advocacy must be built on sincere truth and transparency. Many decisions made behind closed doors hurt working people and people that are the most vulnerable; I commit to use my voice and my position every day to promote and hold others accountable for creating transparent and just conditions in all environments I find myself in. In my free time, I enjoy writing, painting, and spending time with my family.
