Serena is an Educator, Video & Youth Ministry Leader, Deaconess, the first African American elected to the Erlanger-Elsmere School Board, a Labor Liaison, and Community/State/National Activist with approximately 30yrs of service to students, families, and communities. Serena promotes good character, professional development, human rights, and community investment. She is the Founder/CEO of Community Heroes, Inc. that has been acknowledging outstanding service and celebrating community leaders since 2000! As a civil servant Serena collaboratively works towards Equality, for Human Rights, Education, Housing Rights, Voter Empowerment, Social/Economic/Racial Justice, Fairness, Climate Justice Just Transition, and Safer Communities. She is passionate about helping people, restorative justice, and improving the quality of life for all! Serena’s ongoing goal and charge to others is to lead in love and be actively engaged in improving our communities/state/nation by helping to create Healthier Communities and a Healthier Democracy for everyone.
