Spark is a nonprofit, pay-it-forward restaurant with the mission that everyone (regardless of their ability to pay) has access to a locally sourced, homemade meal. Starting as a volunteer at Spark in 2019, community service has become her passion. Annabel was raised in rural Woodford County, instilling values of community, preservation, and working for a greater future. In high school, she realized that politics was the avenue to achieving her goals and values. Since then, she has been highly involved in local and state politics in various different campaign roles, including managing successful campaigns both locally and on the state level. She found her voice not only in running campaigns but in advocacy and governmental policy work. She’s become a vocal advocate for women’s rights, local agriculture, and environmental causes, with her work featured in both national and international publications. As Executive Director of a nonprofit and as someone who’s politically involved, she has already entered the next generation of leadership and is ready to take the next steps to get elected and make change.
