Read moreKiana Fields is a native of Georgetown, KY and a passionate educator committed to championing equity in post-secondary education for all learners. Kiana Fields holds a BA in History from Centre College and earned an MS in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville. In her current capacity as the Research and Education Coordinator, she serves as a driving force behind research and co-curricular development efforts aimed at advancing critical frameworks such as health equity, community-based research, and organizational development principles. Throughout her career in the academy, Kiana has spearheaded and coordinated preparatory programs, including two nationally recognized initiatives, and has mentored countless young adults pursuing their life’s passion. She has also presented her work at local and national conferences.
With deep familial roots in central Kentucky, Kiana has served her community through numerous capacities from facilitating dialogues, serving on committees, and volunteering with her church. Kiana is committed to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the individuals she serves. This commitment is shown by her entrance and candidacy into KY State Senate 17th district race.
In her down time, Kiana spends time at dog parks with her German Shepherd Dog Teddy, baking and cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
