Renee Mitchell

Ilena Renee Mitchell is the Clinic Program Consultant at New Vista, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that serves children and adults in the 17 Central Kentucky counties with services in mental health, substance use, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and primary care. Within her eight years at New Vista, Ilena has held several different positions such as restoring Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) services which are designed to reduce the effects of serious mental illness and improve the quality of life for participants. She is dedicated to her community and assisting those who need integrated health services. Before gaining employment through her current agency, Ilena worked as a therapist at Cumberland River Behavioral Health on the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) for several years. She has worked in the community mental health field for over 14 years. Ilena believes families are the nucleus of the community, and with the right support, individuals can recover from difficult situations. Ilena graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling.
