Read moreBorn and raised in Kentucky, Davin is a native of Lexington and lives in Fayette County. She is the very proud mother of two children. Javin is an Advanced Honor Roll student-athlete and a top ranked member of her High School Archery Team. Ella is a bright and artistic student in the Gifted and Talented program in Fayette County Public Schools. Originally planning a career in Elementary Education, Davin instead was led to the calling of Community Health and Wellness Promotion. The daughter of an educator and dedicated Navy and Army veteran, she learned the value of education and service. In 2020, Davin moved back to Lexington from Los Angeles, California during the pandemic after being furloughed from her position as a Bilingual Flight Attendant with Delta Airlines. Upon her return she shifted her focus on community and politics by seeking volunteer and leadership positions within her community. She believes it is her mission in life to be the change she wishes to see. Hausley graduated from Tates Creek High School with Honors in Lexington in 2006. She received her B.S. from the College of Education in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville in 2010, where she graduated as a Woodford Porter Scholar. She is a Certified Wellness and Integrated Success Coach Advocate and has been employed as a Healthcorps Wellness Connector at the University of Kentucky since the department’s inception at the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020.
