Since 1988, Hopkinsville has been home for both her and her family. She has two daughters, Bri’ana and A’nya, a granddaughter, Ken’Leigh, and a fur baby, Buddy. She is employed by the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) as an MOR Asset Specialist. She is a Certified Fair Housing Coordinator and a Certified Occupancy Specialist. In addition to working in the housing industry for 10 years, she has professional experience in local government, journalism and education. She serves on the following boards: League of Women Voters, Hopkinsville Human Rights Commission and Aaron McNeil Center. She is currently participating in the following programs and organizations: Focus 21st Century Minority Leadership Program, Inc. ,Hopkinsville City Diplomat Program, and Chapter 3092 of the NAACP. She is a member of Word of Faith Christian Center in Madisonville, where she serves in ministry. Her hobbies include reading, bike riding, traveling, decorating, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her family, she loves coffee, women’s Bible studies, and planning and organizing events for the betterment of people and her community. Her motto for life is “Bloom Where You Are Planted.”
