As an adjunct professor at NKU Chase College of Law, she teaches Marketing and Project Management to future lawyers. She attended University of Kentucky, and graduated from NKU’s Chase College of Law. Prior to her legal education, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Uludag University in Bursa, Turkey, and is certified in Global Arbitration Law and Practice from Queen Mary University of London in the UK. She calls Garrard County, KY home. After an extensive global business and management experience, she decided to become an American lawyer but Helen is and will always be a FARMER’S DAUGHTER who grew up raising cattle and sheep and working around the clock to grow vegetables, wheat, and fruit for a living. Engaged to be married to a hardworking, handsome police officer, Helen is also an avid hiker. She finds nearly nothing in her life, however, as amazing and as rewarding as raising her son Fehmi who is soon to graduate from University of Louisville’s School of Medicine on his determined path to help people put back their limbs and lives together as a future Orthopedic Surgeon. Beyond grateful for her Kentucky blessings, Helen feels very strongly about public service and looks forward to finding ways to improve lives in Kentucky. Helen is the Democratic Nominee for the special election for the 22nd Senate District, to be held on November 2, 2o21. Learn more about her campaign here: https://www.facebook.com/HelenforKentucky
