This access was and continues to be challenged following the results of the 2016 election. I believe that all people are entitled to quality, accessible, affordable health care and am committed to helping the US to achieve that goal. With respect to other public policy goals, I am interested in incentivizing green technology and enabling Kentuckians in resource deprived or economically challenged areas to receive the education or vocational training necessary to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families. I believe in the benefits of a culture of inclusion and acceptance of differences, racial, gender, and ethnic diversity, respect for, without imposition of, religious beliefs, and enacting common sense gun control measures that would save lives (gun violence is a public health emergency). When not working for a cause, I enjoy cooking (and eating), reading, exercising, traveling, and socializing with friends and colleagues.
