She is also involved in social/political activism through Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Georgetown Pride, the Community Coalition for Racial Unity, the Poor People’s Campaign, and Mom’s Demand Action, and she was elected to the Scott County Democratic Party Executive Committee. Willow is also the founding member of “The Literary Guild of Georgetown”, she serves as an elder at 1st Christian Church – Disciples of Christ, and she teaches an adult Sunday School Class called, “Sacred Inklings”. She is married, and has five children, and seven grandchildren.
