Read morePam Sigler is currently employed as an Extension Specialist for Evaluation at the University of Kentucky. During sixteen years with the University of Kentucky she has held several roles that included management of federal grants (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program and Food Stamp Nutrition Education, now SNAP Education), advised and written educational curriculum, created marketing materials, coordinated television presentations, and worked to build evaluation capacity among faculty specialist and county agents. She serves on the UK Staff Senate and Employee Benefit Committee. In addition, she manages a property management LLC.
She has lived in central Kentucky most of her life and in the 45th District for the past 16 years where she and her husband raised their children (now adults). While her children were in school, she served on the Site Based Council. Her daughter lives in Lexington and her son is active duty military.
She continues to serve on the Kentucky Department of Agriculture Farm to Food Bank Committee. She is a member of Crestwood Christian Church, volunteers for God’s Pantry Food Bank, is a regular blood donor, and active in the University of Kentucky Alumni Association.
Her previous work experiences include: retail management, middle school teacher, and college faculty. She has a B.S. and M.S. in Vocational Education from the University of Kentucky.
